So, with Melanie’s London run in ‘Blood Brothers’ now over, the question has already been asked: what are we supposed to do now?! While Melanie is taking a well deserved break before cracking on with album number 5 and her Liverpool appearance, we must entertain ourselves. ‘We Love To Entertain You’…actually, we’d love YOU to entertain us! ;-)
We want to make a fan video of ‘We Love To Entertain You’, along the same lines as this video by the band Feeder and their fans from a few years ago:
Simply film yourself in one take (no edits please, we’ll do that bit!) miming to the entire track (either Melanie’s vocals, the backing vocals or both). We’ll pick the best bits and do the rest.
You can be solo, in a group, dance, play air guitar, air drums, real instruments, jump about – you can be serious, funny or down right bizarre, this is YOUR video, the fan video!
Once it’s complete, Melanie will watch the final cut and pick her favourite cameo performance and that video star will win a brand new 16GB iPod Nano in red (of course!), with the video featuring your show-stopping appearance already loaded on and ready to watch.
The fan video will then get its premiere on Melanie’s official YouTube channel and also be added to Facebook and MySpace – your ultimate 15 minutes of fame!...and you never know who might pop in to make a cameo of their own ;-)
The closing date for video entries is the end of the day on Monday 5th July – giving you plenty of time for a few practice runs, to learn the lyrics and work on that perfect pop star pout! Have fun, good luck and rock out!

Once you recorded yourself, please upload the video-result to Yousendit or Rapidshare (make sure the file-name includes your username!), copy the upload-URL and fill it into the following form!
