After many mysterious tweets between Melanie and her fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton, we can now officially reveal the two indeed recorded a track for Melanie's upcoming album 'Stages'. The record, produced by long time collaborator Peter-John Vettese, features a collection of songs from the theatre that have been important to Melanie at various stages of her life.

Melanie and Emma recorded their own version of the classic 'I Know Him So Well', originally taken from the musical 'Chess' and performed by Elaine Page and Barbara Dickson. The track, which was penned by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, formerly of ABBA, and Tim Rice tells the story of two women both seeing their relationship with the same man falling apart.

'Stages' is scheduled to be released in September. Soon we will be revealing the full track listing of the album so make sure you keep an eye on MelanieC.net
