Last week Melanie surprised everyone when she announced she would be joining Peter Vettese on stage during his concert at the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival. Melanie and long time collaborator Peter performed a few tracks including the jazz standard 'My Funny Valentine' and 'Reason', the title track of Melanie's second album and one of her own personal favorites.
