Johnson's, a manufacturer of baby products, is holding "hand-me-down"-auctions of celebrity baby items to support Tommy's, a charity to fund research into and provide information on the causes and prevention of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth,.
One of them is the first baby blanket of Scarlet, Melanie's daughter, a modern Quinny blanket.
Melanie says: "I consider myself very lucky that my pregnancy with Scarlet was a healthy one. A lot of mothers are not so fortunate, which is why I'm pleased to donate Scarlet's blanket to the Johnson's Baby Celebrity Hand Me Down Auction, and raise money to support the baby charity Tommy's. This blanket went everywhere with Scarlet when she was little – I hope it provides the same comfort for another little one out there."
