Is it too late to wish you all a belated Happy New Year? Well, there, I've said it any way! Hope you all had a wonderful festive break, it was nice to relax with the family after the crazy few weeks travelling and performing on our mini tour in December. It felt so amazing to be back on stage and of course, getting to play the new songs from 'The Sea' live at last!

Thank you to everyone who came along, we hope you enjoyed the setlist we put together which also featured your input on choosing a different song every night. Thanks also to whoever put my guitar playing debut on YouTube as well! I'm still learning but it was exciting (if pretty daunting!) to play 'Burn' live - but you know me, I like to challenge myself. Who knows, maybe it'll become a more regular addition to the live set - Paul's incredible guitar solos are safe for the moment though!

We also had a few surprises on some dates - some very special guests in the form of freshly crowned German X Factor winner David Pfeffer who joined me in Germany, James Walsh who I wrote 'One By One' with came along and sang on our Liverpool date and some bloke called Brian May strolled on with his guitar for a rocking encore in London. Insane!!

And so here we are preparing for our major UK and Ireland tour of 'The Sea' in February and March. It feels as though it's coming around very quickly, but the band and I are so eager to back on the road and play for you all - we can't wait!

I don't want to give too much away but we're pretty sure you will love what we have planned. Some old greats, of course as many of the songs off the new album as we can muster, as well as a treat or two - so make sure you have your tickets.

It's brilliant to hear that the Manchester and London dates have sold out, I believe other dates are selling fast so if you've seen a Melanie C gig before or this will be your first, you'll have a top night (even if I do say so myself!)
