Hey Melanie, hope you're well. What do you think about art? Do you buy any and are you a photography person or a paintings person?
Tamir, Israel-UK
Hi Tamir, hope you're well. I am a fan of art. Some modern, some traditional. I like the following artists to name a few, Pip Todd Warmouth, Min Wae Aung and Richard Allen. I love photography too. I have some fantastic shots taken by Bryan Adams, one of Marianne Faithfull, which is a particular favouriteI bought at a charity auction for The Haven Trust (a breastcare Charity) and some pictures of the girls by Dean Freeman. I've been so lucky to work with some of the World's most celebrated photographers like Mario Testino, Rankin and David La Chapelle, all of whom I adore.
You've got a bunch of rather crazy fans, haven't you? I was just wondering, what things that we do or say do you find the most pleasant and fun, and which things do you find upsetting or maybe even annoying?
Anastasia, Russia
Yes, some of my fans are pleasantly bonkers! Luckily for me, you're a loyal bunch who would go to the end of the earth for me. I love to hear how I have inspired or given strength to people through my music or my own battles. It's fun to see familiar faces at shows and all over the world. I love to meet fans but sometimes feel my privacy is invaded when people visit my home.
Having one myself & you knowing about it, just wondered what you thought about your fans in general having stuff related to you tattooed on them, either autographs or the same tattoos as you?
Kayleigh, Walsall
I find it incredibly flattering bit I do worry that people may one day regret them. hopefully that won't happen!
Hello Miss C! - How hard was it to film the video for 'The Moment You Believe'? Being done eventually in just one-shot must have been hard work! You look superb and it's a very touching video with amazing lighting.
Paul O'Rourke, Lancaster
Thanks Paul. I worked with an incredible director (Tim Royes) and crew, and really have them to thank. He had filmed "I Want Candy" the day before so I was really tired and it was quite a lot of pressure to try to not make mistakes. Luckily it all came together and I was in the pub for last orders!!
Your fringe is wicked! What made you change the style?
Kevin, Edinburgh
Hiya Kevsie. You know me, I get bored. I'd fancied a fringe for a while and wanted to go a bit lighter to have a slightly softer look in keeping with the sound of the new album.
How do you like myspace so far? - Did you already have experience with myspace or is this the first time you've ever even seen it? Hope to see you again soon!
Marjolein, Holland
Hi Marjolein. Congratulations on the design of the 2007 calendar, it's brilliant. I've checked out MySpace a few times. I'm happy we finally got mine sorted. I'm a bit of a novice though, I think I need to go on a training course!
What's your guilty pleasure track? The song you probably shouldn't like but can't get enough of!
Steve, Middlesex
Hmm, guilty pleasure track...I'm not really embarrassed about any music I enjoy. I had two Bruce Willis albums when I was younger which people used to tease me about but I don't care. I sang with him once you know!
I LOVE your new single, good luck with it all. I'd like to know what was the last song you put on your iPod?
Sam, Belfast
Cheers Sam. Bit of a curve ball, I know! The last song I put on my iPod was "Golden Skans" by Klaxons
What was the last gig you went to and was it any good?
Andy, Dundee
I went to see my mate's band Idioverse in a pub round the corner from where we shot the DVD. It was brilliant. The lead singer does fantastic animation on screens to accompany the show. Check out their MySpace, they're cool.
It seems right now is a good time for British music, so who is the artist or band you tip for success in 2007?
Alex, London
I think British music has been thriving for a number of years now. It's great to see so many successful female artists like Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen & Natasha Bedingfield. I love loads of new bands like The Kooks, The Editors, The View and Klaxons and I look forward to the new Arctic Monkeys record.
If you can, without giving too much away (!) sum up your new album in 3 words. Really looking forward to it!
Nicci, USA
Smooth, emotional and beautiful
As a solo artist what has been your proudest moment?
Shelley, NJ, USA
Of course my first solo album was a huge success and having two number ones was a very proud time for me. More recently, having success with my own label and my first German number 1 last year. Making another album and sill enjoying success after 11 years in the industry makes me feel very proud.
