So, with a few samples and teasers doing the rounds and the release merely hours away... What are your thoughts on the EP so far?
Personally I absolutely love it. I think it is further proof of just how versatile and talented Melanie is! I am really hoping that Sunrise and Set You Free bring her some massive club success, because that will also help boost exposure and hopefully sales of The Sea. I for one will definitely be requesting it when I go out...

No thoughts yet I think my laptop died during the moving house thing that's kept me offline all week. Hope my GF can DL the tracks tomorrow when het debit card gets verified and email the mp3's to my phone, because Android and iTunes don't go together very well.
Really wish this whole iTunes cr*p would go away. You can only pay by CC, for which I have to bend over backwards every time. They double bill w/out refunds sometimes and I don't want any apple stuff on my computer/phone at all tbh.
Can't we have a nice paypal DL on the website instead?
*end ungreatfull fan rant*
Will now proceed jumping for joy over the getting new music, regardless of how it comes to us.

I think it's not what I'm used to listen, specially from her, but sounds cool!!! hope it gets to lots of clubs and stuffs, and help to increase The Sea sales someway

FINALLY managed to get it but due to CC issues I had to get the tracks seperately (it wouldn't allow me to purchase the EP as a whole ) so I'm missing the booklet
Oh well, it's the music that counts And that is awesome, love it, boozed up review in a couple of days, once I get a chance :p *club tracks need drunk listening too*

my fave song on the EP is Walk Away and mainly because it's the nearest in feel to Melanie's previous music.... less dance-clubby and more subtle, emotional, and pop/rock. very melodic AND rhythmic, nicely written and of course, sung by Melanie.
as for the other two tracks, i'm kind of iffy about them. i do like dance-pop but other than Melanie's always stellar vocals, i'm just not feelin' it on these two songs. i guess that may be Jodie Harsh's influence. oh well. maybe they'll grow on me over time.
in the meantime, i am LOVING the new advance release from Stages, "I Don't Know How to Love Him". excellent!
