waiting an hour is far less than waiting the whole night 8) but by all means take the second one just make sure u dont end up going to bristol or some other wrong place :P. wrong places reminds me of that i need to find a proper map of birmingham somewhere.

apparently there should be a free shuttle bus service to the stadium from coventry railway station so should be easy to take a train there as our hotel in birmingham to my understanding is right next to the b'ham station. yay no proper cooking for a week :? wonder how much pennies one will put on food only...oh well have to learn to eat more when it comes to breakfast.

always in for seeing new places as my only experience of sheffield is the ugly looking cooling towers which have now been demolished when driving past the city. though i am of course crap when it comes to meeting people but who cares 8)

Yeah you do need a card to get the cheapest fares :( worked fine with my free debit card though, unlike iTunes

And for the cooking: Always abuse the kettle every English hotel room has, it's amazing what can be made with those!

I'll try to take the second one 8) Won't promise anything tho cause I see myself waiting at the wrong place and getting in the wrong bus :P

I hope we get the free shuttle bus. That would save us some money :P
Are we gonna eat McDonalds and fish and chips all week? 8)

Do you have to work on Friday 7 September? At 12 pm the womens tennis final (Paralympics) will be held. I expect Dutchie Esther Vergeer to win it so should be cool to cheer her on 8)

if your flight is there at 9am what shall u do all that time? wander around heathrow till 3-4pm?

the train trip to coventry should take only about 20 minutes and hopefully costs less than 5 pounds though internet fares r always a bit iffy. mcdonalds everyday sounds "perfect" 8) or maybe we indeed cook some kind of cup a soup stuff in the water boiler :? or then just run to tesco, asda, sainsbury co-op or whatever is near scavenge something from there.

arent we specific with the time frame. no idea and no i wont take part will probably be broke after the olympics 8) i'd rather see the finnish 100m wheelchair racing guy who holds the world record.

My flight isn't there at 9am. I leave at 15.45 and arrive in London around 16.10. Bus will leave at 16.45 so I have 30 minutes to find out where to go to.

We can also take the train without paying for it 8) I'm probably too chicken to do that though. I could say that you forced me to do it 8)

Btw, how much money do you take with you to London?

partypooper :|

u probably wont make that bus with the passport check-up and so, not in 30 minutes but at least there r later ones...wonder is there a connection without changes straight to birmingham city centre cos then i could come there too.

dont do illegal travel not when they can hit u with a fine of 150 pounds 8) and i bet i can look more innocent than u.

no idea yet probably change some here to pounds before as uk atms always rip off a transfer fee, know better after mid july when i am done with the monthly bills and know how much i get paid...however possibly getting a proper visa so at least the credit side keeps us safe if some stupid disaster hits us again :?. guess i have to start thinking what's the daily budget and then there r idiotic people who want me to buy mascots and t-shirts and b-day presents.

always :P do u wanna come to a helsinki-stockholm-helsinki cruise in september? i have discount vouchers and also the time frame is more flexible than your tennis matches 8)

I can also take the train. Bit more expensive but if I take a bus later it means that we both have to wait till probably over 8pm. Which is something I don't want to of course. 8)

That cruise sounds cool. I'm in :P

dont care if i have to wait as long as we r at the stadium the next day 8) if u take the train though then it might be easier to meet in birmingham new street or moor street depending where it stops. i am also wondering should i buy our birmingham to london tickets in advance cos they seem to have some tickets available online which wont cost more than 20 pounds (though i have no idea what they usually cost so who knows is that cheap or not :P ).

u r most welcome 8) to either see drunken young and middle aged finns or pensioners who come to "dance"...i of course dont belong to either group.

I'll probably take the train. Unless I have handlugage only so I can take a sprint out of the plane and run to the bus. But I don't see that happen 8)

Ok, with me. If we put all the footietickets, the hotels and the traintickets together, how much money do you get from me? Should order my english money somewhere this week. :P

We should get drunk as well 8)

will u be one of those people who drag a huge trolley behind her? 8)

i am cool with 450e or alternatively £360...i hope it isnt too much :| especially since i rudely booked the hotels basically without consulting u. order the money? what kind of posh service is that? 8) dont u have currency exchange places anywhere near by?

since the tickets came i checked out our seating

in coventry we r in block 19 and on second match day block 18
Image

in wembley they threw us behind the goal (but since erin isnt in the goal it shouldnt matter that much). block 112 so it isnt too high up which is good...maybe we see kelly smith scoring since she managed to be fit though carney scoring would of course be better :P. also free travelcards for 31st for all zones so dont have to bother to put money on those...hooray.
Image

dont do drunk idioticism 8) alcohol tastes bad and if anyone offers me absinthe i am gonna vomit on them.

I don't do trolley stuff. I have a shoulder bag which should be big enough for all my stuff and small enough to use as handlugage. 8)

Not too much. It's actually very cheap 8) I expected more. What do you prefer. € or £?
You've never heard of it? You can order money online at your own bank and 2 or 3 days later you can pick it up. If I have to go to one of these currency exchange places I have to travel to a city as we don't have something like that in the shitty village I live in 8) Now I can order money on their website and take my bike to pick it up.

Block 18 and 19 are perfect. Block 112 should be fun. Throwing beer at Marta when she comes tto close to the England, errm GB goal, and if we miss her then there's this Rachel Brown thing who can catch it for us 8)

We can also drink milk if you want 8) But I think you prefer tea?

good then u r in the cool traveller category 8) i'll probably take a shoulder bag thingy and a backpack. the footy guides informed that must avoid to bring any big bags to the stadiums and also we cant leave the stadium on the double header games between the matches and they only accept visa and cash inside the venues but we r using cash anyways so screw cards. also confirmed that coventry has the free shuttle bus running and we should arrive to the venues at least 2 hours before kick off.

maybe pounds if u manage then i can spend them to all kinds of crap stuff 8). how rustic :P ...we only have one proper exchange place here which is good though as they dont take any fee like at airports. i am still quite pleased how cheap the birmingham hotel was and it's still one of the most decent ones. i'll post the hotel links if u wanna study them.

http://www.booking.com/hotel/gb/jurys-b ... am.en.html
http://www.booking.com/hotel/gb/saba-london.en.html

i'd rather have bardsley playing than pepsodent smile brown 8). good that i didnt manage to get tickets to the men's GB game since that psychotic pearce did the most wrong thing and didnt pick beckham...disgrace!

milk is the best meal drink and tea afterwards 8)

I don't need big bags as I stuff everything up in my pockets. Dumb question maybe, but do you know if there are any rules about cameras during big tournament? Not the stuff that you hear at concerts about a camera that looks too much like a paparazzi one and is not allowed to take inside...

Ok, I'll order a shitload of pounds then. 8) The hotel looks good. I'm satisfied with that.

I want Bardsley as well. She's cool. Brown is a twat.

Don't forget Redbull. That's good stuff as well 8)

tend to do that too as i hate being restricted by bags and all these stupid handbags r definitely out of the question 8). should not be, at footie games at least. the only mention about digital equipment on the back of the tickets is that by attending the events the spectators agree to be filmed by the organisers...so please do not bring any too flashy costumes to the matches thank u.

must not forget the golden rule of tickets, money passport when leaving :? i have 2 adapters for the electricity sockets as UK is backwarded even in that department.

bardsley is fun despite the american accent 8)

redbull :? all those energy drinks taste like shit, the only one i'll do is lucozade preferably orange flavour 8)

I'll wear a ice orange shirt. Maybe I'll throw it to Erin when she comes anywhere near us. And hopefully she'll throw her shirt at me 8)
I will take some nice pictures of you 8)

The american accent is what makes her perfect :P

Dude :o Redbull is good stuff.
