Reading Wikipedia and seeing the chart positions for Weak & Let There Be Love. very dissapointing. Why are people not buying these amazing songs!?! Surely if all fans did their part we can help get more publicity by helping it get higher in the charts!!!!! What more can we do to help her get on top!?!?!?!

I know I'm gutted for Melanie, the sales seem to be getting worse but the music is better, it don't make sence, I thought LTBL would do really well as its a cover or a big German no.1 so unless it didn't get the promo in needed im just not sure.

Can't wait to seen Melanie in Mnachester, Blefast & Dublin woopwoop x

Maybe we should do a publicity stunt for the next single?

It might just be that people aren't aware of then coming out. You can't buy if you don't know something's available!

We're not a big group, but if we stick our heads together we might be able to generate at least some press coverage!

I've just said this in a vid of german version of LTBL in youtube; If this song would've played by a big and well known american singer or celebrity, it would've been a worldwide hit, cos this song is extremely beautiful.
Unfortunately big hits are only performed by big celebrities, being good or bad songs; and good songs are not always performed by big celebrities, so those don't become big hits.

This is the case of LTBL, one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, along with, for example 'Imagine' and It's not a worldwide success.
Same happends with Melanie's case, she's so underrated, being such a great artist.

My mom is a opera singer/teacher; and she has this student that likes British pop/rock music. My mum made her listen to Melanie's music, and this student liked her instantly.

To be a rock and not to roll ...

Then we must make her a big celebrity once more!

It's not that she isn't a star anymore... It's just that people have been looking at the other ones that shout brighter (yes, shout :p).

Publicity, people! The trick is to make sure people KNOW she's still there, the rest is up to Melanie and I have all the faith in the world that she has what it takes to hold up her end!

No, faith is a misguided word there, cause faith is for things you aren't sure about... I KNOW she has what it takes!

I live in the US and if there was actually some publicity here then I think she would sell more records as a whole. And if there was publicity everywhere more people would buy the album.

half the people i know or speak to dont even realise she as all her albums released or that they even exsist .. or even heard any which is a shame couse they are brill and she is fantastic live!
