As an American, I can say that Emma's LIM will not be released here ever, nor has it already been released here, like Basti said. There has been no news from Emma's official site to indicate that there has been a US release. And most likely, there won't be one due to the fact that LIM is not doing well in the UK. Why try and crack an almost impossible market like the US when you can't even get success in your own country? Where did you hear this news from?
wikipedia.org type in life in mono and it will show the release date for britain and america
and i don't see how it is impossible to crack the american music scene
we have alot of people here without talent and they make it big but then again its all in peoples taste in music

Then why do you care if LIM is released here if you don't have any of Emma's albums? Free Me was released here and did really poorly (I bought the US version with the 2 bonus tracks). Life in Mono isn't doing that well in the UK whereas Free Me was doing really well there and so Emma decided she should try and crack the US market, which didn't do well.
Life in Mono, which I got for Xmas, is full of ballads basically with a few mid-tempo songs thrown in so that it doesn't get too boring. I love the album, but it's not something that would do well here, realistically.
I went and checked wikipedia and, while there is a US release date, it certainly hasn't been in any of the stores I've gone to, so I'm presuming that it was just on iTunes as a US release rather than an actual physical release.
the reason i care not thats its any of your buisness is that i was thinking of getting both free me and life in mono
and where do you get off thinking i owe you an explanation for a question?

Then just buy both of the albums. Don't worry about whether or not it'll be released here. You just need to be logical about this: If you are interested in an overseas singer/group, your best bet is to find a store that carries imports or just buy it from amazon because they certainly are not coming here.
I never said you owed me anything; I was asking a simple question as to why you cared so much about whether or not it'd be released here when you seemed pretty sure already that it had been because wikipedia had a release date for it (btw, wikipedia is not exactly the most reliable source).
